Where and How Can I Use My Tiger 1 Card?

Utility Details
University ID Card Your Tiger 1 Card is your official university ID. Many departments use a Tiger 1 Card as a means to grant access to their information and services. From the libraries using Tiger 1 Card to allow you to check out library books, to using it to gain access to your Residence Hall, to a teacher requiring to see your Tiger 1 Card to take a test, to DCIT requiring it to allow you to purchase discounted software, The Tiger 1 Card is a necessity of every day campus life. Always remember to carry your Tiger 1 Card with you at all time.

Meal Plans / Dining Halls Your Tiger 1 Card is also your access to your meal plan. Meal plans are a smart and convenient way for you to save money. This is because an average dining meal costs less, some locations offers unlimited portions, and we have more variety. If you purchase a meal plan, you get great tasting, healthy meals plus money deposited in your account if you purchase a PLUS plan.

Regular session (Fall and Spring Semester) are outlined on the Campus Services website.

There are no mid-session drops or changes for Maymester or Summer Session meal plans.

Library The Library requires your Tiger 1 Card with a barcode printed on the card to check out books.

Card Access Your Tiger 1 Card may be used to obtain access to various academic buildings, computer labs, or Residence Halls on campus. Your card will, however, only provide access to a building or lab to which you have been specifically authorized.

Residence hall exterior doors are locked 24 hours a day seven days a week. Residence hall students have 24-hour card access to their own building. Protect your Tiger 1 Card. It is your key, your checkbook, and your identity. Don't loan it or lose it!

Fike
Your valid Tiger 1 Card provides you access to all the facilities, programs and services offered by Campus Recreation. If your fees are paid and you are a student taking 6 hours or more in the fall and/or spring semesters and 3 hours in the summer, you may gain entrance to all facilities, register for programs and check out equipment. You may use the debit function to purchase guest passes, rent a locker or even purchase a drink from one of the vending machines. The Tiger 1 Card is the only card that can do all these things!
